Picmonic is revolutionizing education. Welcome to the Visual Creator Community.
Most of us are visual learners. Now anyone can use Picmonic's pioneering technology and create their own Picmonics to remember hard-to-learn information longer. Author media-rich flashcards complete with audio-mnemonic characters and a memorable storyline -- for anything you want to study.
Create Now - it's FreeSelect a topic that you are struggling to remember, such as two similar yet different terms (hypo vs hyper), a list of information, word definitions, a process or specific order of something.
Ideate phonetic mnemonic character names and imagery that will help you remember the facts. Does the key fact have a natural pictorial association? If not, does the fact sound similar to a word such as "hiker" for "hyper" that is above a "hippo" for "hypo?" This will help you remember that "hypo" means "beneath/below/less" and "hyper" means "above/more."
Tie it all together with a narrated storyline to help you remember the scene, characters, and ultimately, the facts. You can even generate a simple quiz to help you practice recalling the facts.
Custom Picmonics and modification of existing ones are the most valuable tool I have ever seen. No other platform allows you to do that (besides your old notebook)...
This #medstudent is seriously loving the new @Picmonic creator! Takes less than 5 min to do a quick creation and the facts still stick!
My absolute FAVORITE thing about Picmonic is the ability to create your own Picmonics! It is incredibly easy to make and helps me retain random diseases from my classes.
Picmonic’s creator was the key to my success in medical school. While other classmates created traditional flashcards and struggled to remember them, I was creating visual mnemonic flashcards with Picmonic and remembering facts in a much easier and effective way. The process of creating Picmonics is so interactive and fun, that you barely have to review them again because they are edged into your long-term memory right away. By combining Picmonic’s vast library of content and the Picmonics I created, I was able to retain all the hard to remember facts I was struggling with and reach my goal of becoming a medical doctor.
